Loftness flail mowers aren’t designed for light use. They’re built for some of the toughest conditions, including thick grass, tall weeds and small brush. They offer models to add versatility to your existing skid steer, compact track loader or tractor.
FLAIL MOWER – HYDRO
For skid steers with 13-43 GPM and 20-70 hydraulic horsepower
Easy to operate and maintain, the Loftness skid steer mounted flail mower is packed with high-performance features that power through the toughest grasses, weeds and brush up to 3/4 inches in diameter using the same knives. It leaves an even mat of mulch for fast decomposition. The flail mower works with as little as 13 GPM, although 20+ GPM is recommended for tall weeds and intermittent brush. A PTO-powered version is also available.
FLAIL MOWER – PTO
For tractors with 540 RPM PTO and 25-70 horsepower
The PTO-driven flail mower from Loftness adds versatility to your existing tractor with 540 RPM PTO and 25-70 horsepower. It can attach via Cat. I or II, free-link or quick hitch. This heavy-duty unit is a great option for cutting grass, weeds and brush up to 3/4 inches in diameter, all using the same knives. It can be mounted centered or 14 inches offset to the right to meet your needs.
